Copywriter/Senior Copywriter

The Copywriter reports to the Associate Creative Director. Works as an integral part of the creative team to develop concepts and write copy for a variety of interactive and multimedia projects.

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop concepts and write copy for Web sites, CD-ROMs, kiosks, and related applications
  • Present creative concepts to clients; defend and fight for creative license
  • Incorporate client feedback as appropriate
  • Edit, proofread, and review final work
  • Advise, counsel, and mentor others
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of agency (in-house agency) experience
  • Journalism, English, Communication, or Liberal Arts degree
  • Experience writing for consumer and business-to-business Web sites, CD-ROMs, etc.
  • Collateral or broadcast experience a plus
  • Polished presentation and communication skills
  • Superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading symbols
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Macintosh or PC experience and knowledge of MS Word
  • Portfolio of highly creative work
